What do a glamorous writer, a rabbi, an MIT scientist and a Disney adult have in common?… They're all stuck in a love square.
In lockdown.

Eris Clemens lives and writes in Belmont. It’s early 2020 when the coronavirus pandemic suddenly strikes, and her happily married small town life is perturbed. Incipient romance with young academic Daniel is squashed by separation—then amplified by it.

What ensues is a push and pull of jealousy and desire. Will they end up together despite the comfort of existing relationships? Will they... survive?

Mara Rotundo is a Romanian writer in the UK.

Despite being born behind the Iron Curtain, Mara was lucky enough to grow up next to a castle, in a house full of thousands of books that offered a wondrous escape from the communist grey of her early life. It's no wonder creating a hopeful universe became her adult calling.

As a youngster, she set off on an adventurous search for meaning through Europe and beyond, eventually settling in Manchester, United Kingdom, where she lives with her other half.

She wrote several novels, many short stories and essays that remain locked in a dusty drawer. "White Knight" is her first published work of fiction, a child of the pandemic—with a world in a unison of painful confusion and transformation, she felt the time has arrived for a new type of story. One that looks to the past to birth new hopes for the future. One that isn't afraid of the dark corridors of life, but lives them out in a pursuit for better. Fiction that entertains as well as inspire thoughts.
